Last week we headed back to college and Paul gave the students at Hugh Baird College a talk on his career in Hospitality and what led him to starting I am Doner.
It was great to hear from Pauline & Ste what the college do to support their students and all of the international trips they take them on.
The students then took to the kitchen in a ‘ready steady cook’ style competition to come up with their own I am Doner dish.
We had a Mexican inspired doner bowl, marinated doner in honey & lime, our first ever squid doner and a halloumi with Asian style slaw.
They were all delicious and the team did a great job. We left feeling truly inspired by the talent in the college and we wish them all the best of luck and who knows we may see them in a I am Doner store before we know it!
