A brand-new award winning Kebab store I am Doner is opening in Datchet this week, and the first three 100 people to walk through its doors will get a real treat.
How does free kebabs sound?
Datchet’s newest opening is ready to open on Sunday 6th August and they have a great offer for their first 100 customer though the door.
Fans of the popular Kebab store chain can already satisfy their kebab cravings from I am Doner locations up north but this is the first to hit south of the M25,with a road side location in Datchet Windsor!
Their revolution was started by their founder Paul who was trained in Michelin starred restaurants by some of the UK's best chefs. He wanted to make the döner kebab more than a guilty pleasure for the intoxicated.
The team use a total of 120 ingredients in the eight kebabs that they offer, as well as catering to non-meat eaters, with a host of vegetarian, vegan, plant based and gluten free options all featuring on their popular menu.
This is not the end of the decision making – all items are fully customisable and you can choose your level of heat for your chilli sauce including their own branded ‘Hot as Hell’ Sauce. The extremely hot sauce comes with a warning and is packed full of habaneros and Carolina Reapers, then flavoured with garlic and blood orange juice. With not an extract in sight!
In 2019 the brand was recognised in parliament for its work as a first adopter in 100% plastic free packaging and awarded the Sustainability Award at the British Kebab Awards.
I am Doner opens at 1pm on Sunday 6th August. Located at the Datchet Green Filling station, I am Doner is celebrating the opening with some epic giveaways. Whilst their team perfect their rolling skills you can get 50% of your food from 6th-9th August.
That’s not the only reason for kebab fans to get excited about the new opening though, as those keen enough to queue could be in with the chance of winning one of the sweetest prizes there is – £150 cash voucher for first in the queue (2nd and third place will retrospectively win £100 & £50 voucher).

Datchet will be the 6th venue and they are very excited about opening here. Owner Paul Baron said: “Datchet is a fantastic place and really reminds me of Harrogate. It’s really exciting to be bringing our kebabs down south and we cannot wait to see what you think of them!”
